ඔන්න මමත් උදේපාන්දර දැම්මානේ Google Chrome, කියලා වැඩක් නෑ…. පටස් හාලා ඉන්ස්ටොල් නම් උනා… ඒත් මොකද උනේ…
මගේ තියෙන්නේ Windows XP EN SP3 with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11, මම හිතුවා පලවෙන පාර අල උනහම මේක Symantec එකේ අව්ලක් කියලා, මම ඒක ගැලවලා බැලුවා…. වෙනසක් නෑ… අල !

හැබැයි, මලින්ත මලයානම් දාල වැඩ, ඒත් මෑන් SP3 පාවිච්චි කරන්නේ නෑ…. බලමුකෝ මොකද වෙන්නේ කියලා, SP3 වල දාපු කෙනෙක් ඉනවානම් කියන්න, දැකපු අනික් වරද තමයි, අපිට ඉන්ස්ටොල් වෙන තැන තොරා දෙන්න බෑ.

To resolve hte problem you need to disable Application and Device Control from SEP.

Symantec and select “Change” then “Modify.”
Uncheck “Application and Device Control”

Hey man,
sad to see the installation got failed for you. personally, i don’t install *new* products as such, specially when they’re on beta stage. i don’t even use gmail for any important work, specially via the web interface.
secondly, i’m not going to change my browser just because it’s new or it’s from google. again, even this beta thingy gets installed properly, i don’t think it’s a good choice to use it, knowing the security vulnerabilities that the google had with gmail in recent times.
web-security is a different ball game, just because google are good at searching web pages, i’d surely won’t install this chrome thingy, unless it gets matured and proved to be a good product.
beta != production ready
known devil is better than the unseen god!! stick to seamonkey or ff.

Hey T, you right, even I’m not going to use Chrome, one thing is its just the Mozilla Tool kit, its what ever you use its still the Firefox core
I’m still happy with IE7

මම XP SP3 වල ස්ථාපනයකලා.පැය 24 කට වඩා භාවිතාකලා.මටත් සිංහල ටයිප් කිරීමේ ගැටලු ආවා. JavaScript වලට good නමුත් RAM එකට නම් no chances.
end of the day it has used over 500MB of RAM. but firefox needs 150MB
Chrome uses the Webkit(KHTML software library) rendering engine. which is also used by Konqueror. by the way NO master password. but I like it because the app source code is released under a BSD licence

තව වෙබ් බ්රවුසෙර් එක කියන්නෙ හිසරදයක්. එක එක එවයෙ CSS Disply වෙන්නෙ එක එක විදිහට ඉතින් Designers lata තමා මෙකෙන් කරදරේ. IE6, IE7, Mozilla 2, Mozilla 3, IE 8 (Beta)තියෙන එව නියමාකරයෙන් සොංවර්ධනය කරන්නෙ නැතුව තව එකතු කරන එක නම් කනගාටුවට කරුනක්

කාලිංග මහත්තයගෙ බ්ලොග් සටහන් සේරටම බොහෝම ස්තුතියි. අලුත් තාක්ෂණික දේවල් ගැන දැන්ගන්න උවමන්ව තිබ්බට භාෂාව හරස් වෙන නිසා දැනගන්න තියෙන පහසුකම් අඩුයි. ඒක නිස මේ බ්ලොග් එකෙන් වෙන සේවය වටිනව. පොදුවේ මුළු site එක ගැනම comment එකක් දාන්න තැනක් දැක්කෙ නැති නිසා මෙතන මේක දාන්නෙ.

You can temporarily resolve this error by running chrome.exe with the -no-sandbox mode. Instructions here. But, google does not recommend it due to security issues.

මමත් ඕක දමා ගත්තා විස්ටා වලට. එලට වැඩ නම් කරනවා. මම නම් ඕක ස්ථාපනය කොර ගත්තෙ offline installer එකක් බා ගෙන. කොහොම උනත් ස්ථාපනය කොරන්න location එකක් නම් අහුවේ නැද්ද කොහෙද මතක හැටියට. ඒක බාගත්තෙ මෙන්න මෙතනින්

මම දාලා තිෙයන්න SP3. දැනට නම් අවුලකට කියලා තිෙයන්ෙන Flash player plugin ඒක වැඩ කරන් නැති ඒක විතරයි

I’m using SP3 and worked with chrome well. But I uninstalled it as it runs an updater in the background all the time.
