වින්ඩෝස් Vista මත වෙන OS එකක් ඉන්ස්ටොල් කිරීම – Virtualbox and Kubuntu

මම අද කතා කරන්නේ වින්ඩෝස් මත Virtualbox කියන software එක යොදාගෙන කොහොමද තව OS එකක් හෝ කීපයක් ඉන්ස්ටෝල් කරන්නේ කියලා. මේක ගොඩක් වෙලාවට වැදගත් testing වගේම presentation වගේ දේවල් කරන විට. අනික හොඳම එක තමයි මේ software එක නොමිලේ තමයි personal usage එකට ලබාදෙන්නේ. ජර්මානු software සමාගමක් වන Innotek සමාගම තමයි මෙය මුලින්ම ආරම්භ කළේ, දැන් Sun Microsystems ආයතනය තමයි මෙය Open Source ලෙස දියුණුකර ලබාදෙන්නේ.
දැනට Windows, Linux, MAC OS and (Open)Solaris මත මෙය install කළ හැකි අතර, මෙය ආධාරයෙන් දැනට බොහෝ OS install කළ හැක. මෙන්න ලැයිස්තුව
හරි, පළමුව Virtualbox download කරගන්න. ඉන්පසු installer එක run කරන්න.
Click “Next”
Accept the terms, Click “Next”
Install කරන ස්ථානය තෝරාගන්න, දැන් “Next” කරන්න.
“Install” කිලික් කරන්න.
Installing
Install වන අතර, මෙවැනි Driver install කරන්න අවසර ඉල්ලන්න පුලුවන්, ඒවා “Install” කරන්න.
සියල්ල හරියට වුණා නම් installation එක අවසන් වෙයි, “Finish” click කරන්න.
පළමු වරට Virtualbox එක ආරම්භ කළ විට ඔබට ලියාපදිංචි වෙන ලෙස ඉල්ලයි, අවශ්ය තොරතුරු ලබා දී “Confirm” කරන්න.
හරියට Virtualbox එක ආරම්භ වූ විට මෙලෙස දිස්වෙයි.
හරි, දැන් අපි බලමු කොහොමද Guest OS එකක් මේ මත Install කරන්නේ කියලා. මම මේ සඳහා යොදාගන්නේ Kubuntu 8.04 CD එකක්.
“New” කියන button එකෙන් නව virtual Virtual Machine එකක අඹන්න, මෙවිට New Virtual Machine Wizard එක ආරම්භ වෙයි. “Next” click කරන්න.
දැන් ඔබට කැමති නමක් ලබාදෙන්න ඔබගේ Virtual Machine එකට, “OS Type” එකෙන් ඔබ Install කරන්න යන OS එක තෝරාගෙන “Next” කරන්න.
ඔබ Install කරන OS එකට ලබාදෙන RAM ප්රමාණයක් තෝරා “Next” කරන්න.
හරි, දැන් ඔබට ඔබ Install කරන්න යන OS එක සදහා වෙනම Virtual HDD එකක් සකසන්න වෙනවා, “New” click කරන්න.
ඔම “New” click කළ පසු, Create New Virtual Dish Wizard එක ආරම්භ වෙයි, “Next” කරන්න.
Dynamically expanding image තෝරා “Next” කරන්න.
ඔබ Install කරන OS එකට කොපමණ ඉඩක් ලබාදෙනවාද කියා තෝරා නමක් දී “Next” කරන්න, මෙම File එක සෑදෙන ස්ථානය දකුණුපස ඇති folder icon එක click කිරීම මගින් කළ හැක.
“Next” කරන්න.
හරි, Virtual Machine එක setup වී අවසානයි, “Finish” ක්ලික් කරන්න.
ඔබ සෑදූ Virtual Machine එකේ විස්තරයක් ඉහළ ආකාරයෙන් දිස්වෙයි. නමුත් මෙහි CDROM, Sound වගේ දේවල් සැකසිය යුතුයි.
“CD/DVD Rom” මත click කිරීමෙන්, ඔබට settings windows එක ලැබෙයි. Mount CD/DVD Drive tick කර, ඔබගේ CD Drive එක තෝරාගන්න, (ඔබට පරිගණකයේ ඇති CD/DVD ISO Image එකක් වුවද තෝරා දිය හැක) මෙලෙස ඔබට sound වගේ අනිත් දේවල් ද වම් පසින් ඇති list එක මගින් තෝරා වෙනස් කළ හැක. හරි දැන් “OK” කරන්න.
දැන් install කරන්න යන OS එකේ CD/DVD එක ROM එකට දමා මෙනු එකේ ඇති “Start” කියන button එක ඔබන්න.
දැන් ආරම්භ වන Vertualbox එක මත click කළ විට ඉහත සඳහන් messages එයි, මෙයින් කියන්නේ Virtualbox එකට ඇතුල් වෙන්න හා පිට වෙන්න keyboard එකේ දකුණු පස “Ctrl” key එක පාවිච්චි කළ යුතු බවයි. මේ Key එක හඳුන්වන්නේ “Host” key එක ලෙසයි.
මෙන්න boot වුණ Virtualbox එක දිස්වන ආකාරය.
ඔබට menu එකේ Machine කියන එක වෙත ගොස් Full Screen යා හැක. නැතිනම් host key + F (host key කියන්නේ අර කලින් කියපු, keyboard එකේ දකුණු පැත්තේ “Ctrl” key එකයි), පිට වීමද එසේමයි.
දැන් ඔබ නිකන් OS එක install කරන ආකාරයට install කරගන්න.

ආහ්.. මටත් උබුන්ටු cd එක තැපැලෙන් ආවෙ ගිය සතියෙ. ඹුලින්ම virtualbox දාල උබුන්ටු ස්තාපනය කරල බලන්න ඕන. මේ කරුනු පැහැදිලිව ඉගන්නුවට බොහොම ස්තුතියි

අහ්… ඔයට wvdial ඒකට ඕනේ… shell එකට ගිහින් sudo apt-get install wvdial කරන්න පෂුව. USB එකට මොඩම් එක ගහලා sudo wvdialconf කියලා shell එකේ ගහන්න, /etc/wvdial.conf ෆියිල් එක editor එකකින් ඔපන් කරලා

i download Virtualbox, but get some windows error after install. (do you want keygen for VMware? i’m using VMware 6.0 for MCSA exam)

My computer stack after start VB, so i have to use task manager for close explorer.exe, then starting a new task for run explorer.exe again. then i can start VB again it’s working wel. i don’t no what is the problem is. why stack my computer? Now i’m going format computer.
(pentium dual core E2140 @ 3.20GHz OC, 3.00GB DDR2 800, GMA3100/G33 chip, 250GB & 160GB HDD, Win XP SP3 32bit & Windows 7 beta 32bit)

1. File sharing කරලා. (SMB)
2. FTP වගේ එකක් යොදාගෙන
3. Host OS එකේ folder එකක් Guest OS එකේ drive එකක් හැටියට mount කරලා.

හිතවත් කාලිංග,
guest OS එකේ window size එක screen එක කුඩා වෙලා තියෙන්නේ. ඒක විශාල කරගන්නේ කොහොමද? full screen දැමුවත් එය එසේමයි. එය විශාල කරගන්නේ කොහොම? help me please.

Guest Addition කියන ඒවා install කරන්න, ඒක Vbox මෙනු එකේ තියනවා, පසුව screen resolution හදන්න, ඉන්පසු full screen කරගන්න.
